Right. And now X is aiming to change that - to capture the value not only of the network effects but also the creators. It’s just going to be a stronger moat. Elon did the smart thing business-wise. Many before him understood where Twitter needed to go. But it makes for something entirely different than a free speech platform. Which makes it that much more important to have an alternative. But we no longer really need a place to dump information into a single aggregate system. Maybe it’s useful for the experience or curation but discovery can move to prompting.
