what seems to be wrong with being "onboarded with primal"?

why do i get weird vibes from some users who think it's a gross or not the best gateway to nostr?

Primal sucks because it only shows you their friends. No regular pl3b tends to tr3nd on primal.

i'm looking at their trending 4h feed and there's a good mix of users. some are primal paid subscribers but not all.
