Recently got into using Cursor for coding and I've been blown away most times. In the end though most code it produces requires adjustments. AI is a great peer for paired programming but I'd never deploy anything untested.

using ai for coding is awful. being a developer isn't nice anymore.
they are not, they're getting good at the basics, and they're getting good at boilerplate, but thinking is still non-existent from my experience
