How should people refer to me using the NIP-05 address?
- @henry@bblfish.net
- henry@bblfish.net
I now have a verified name linked to my domain name, so that I can now
be identified by henry@bblfish.net. As I understand this would help
in case I loose control of my keys somehow.
I followed the instructions here
https://nostr.how/en/guides/get-verified
It was actually quite easy, as I just need to add this file to
my web server
https://bblfish.net/.well-known/nostr.json
The result on #primal looks like this:

How should people refer to me using the NIP-05 address?
- @henry@bblfish.net
- henry@bblfish.net
henry@bblfish.net
nostr:note17at893dj9g2ljpfdfsrz67vnslg2am5fhcqq6662l7lve0r8zuyq7fyg94
your henry@bblfish.net does not create a link in #Damus or #primal #nostrclient .
In fact, if I click on one of my links earlier in this thread using the Damus client, it opens my Apple mail reader. My guess is that the convention should be for email to use
nostr:henry@bblfish.net
or perhaps in the end even did:key?
NIP-05 is used in kind 0 event (metadata), and needed for verification and search. For example you can be sure that https://snort.social/p/_@p.adre.su it's me.
