The left uses libertarian solutions to help the community every day because the democrats have abandoned them 🤙

They invented the word, not the ideas. Either way, it certainly shouldn't belong to the right.

We wouldn't have had to take "libertarian" if the left hadn't taken "liberal" from us.

The term "liberal" was confused by the rise of a desire for central planning and economic equality. Traditionally, "liberal" meant supporting individual liberty and self-sovereignty. But later in the 19th and early 20th century, it meant to be free of the restraints of an unequal economic system.

Left and right now longer make any sense. You're either pro-authority or pro-liberty, and you're either pro-change or pro-conservation. And you can be all four in varying contexts.

Both parties have elements of all of these stances, which makes it easy to cherry pick the other side's platform and say both that they want more central control from one side of your mouth and more individual freedom from the other; wanting both to change the laws and keep them as is. It's an perfect platform for propaganda because you can say whatever you need to and still be "right" in some way.
