dont let the hostile bitcoiners stop you from exploring new things, nothing really good comes from never wanting to open your mind, im primarily a monero guy myself but im not gonna denounce anyone for using bitcoin, even i know it still has its own value and way of things, both have their edge cases, the pros of monero is the amazing privacy, and my personal favorite is the very low fees, which makes it work pretty well as digital cash, not to mention since all transactions on the monero block chain are obscured theres no such thing as "tainted coins" if you know what that is. although monero suffers from not being too accessible to the average person for a couple of different reasons, mainly from being delisted from most exchanges, but other than that hurdle i think its pretty easy to use.

This is cool, people have been nice and sent me like $6 in Monero already, I have the monero.com wallet, I see you can buy gift cards in it (I can buy a burger at $10) but how else would you sell it though? What can you do with it on a daily basis?

im glad the community has been welcoming so far 💪

theres a bunch of ways, thers a pretty cool site called xmrbazaar which is a site where you can sell or buy things for monero, hire people, pay people for work, or just whatever random thing thats on there lol. theres also another site called monerica which is a huge list of services that accept xmr. and then theres retoswap if you wish to sell your xmr to fiat or swap it into any other crypto you want, it runs on tor so its pretty private too.

That's really cool

yeah the monero economy is growing everyday which is pretty awesome to see, theres even yearly events where vendors get together to sell things for xmr. i hope you continue to research and learn more about monero, happy to see you look into it 👍
