Replying to Avatar cloud fodder

With nos2x, you could use your password manager to backup your key. Or just go crazy and no not backup. Either way, alby may store it in the #cloud. Is all.

This is not true. Alby extension is FOSS just like nos2x and it absolutely does not upload your nsec to the cloud. It's just as much of a nostr NIP07 signing extension as nos2x

Ok thank you for confirming that. Ya I was #lazywebbing that one 😎 but also, to make an alby acct need email, whereas nos2x does not
