I would! It would light a fire under my butt to actually get my Technician and General.

We use GMRS religiously out here. Lucky to have a FANTASTIC repeater that covers the entire county. I keep meaning to move over to ham, but... well, if it ain't broke...

Internet relay project is a good place to start. However, it would have to remain testnet. You cannot do commercial activities on ham bands

Some of us would need a commercial licence, then we would need to pay to rent the band.
