RSS is just a text file full of metadata. You host your actual audio and art elsewhere. The RSS feed utilizes simple tags to point to where the assets are hosted.

How does the app handle changes such as new album art or adjusting splits? What happens if I need to replace the mp3? These are concerns I have from an industry perspective that prevents me from utilizing a purely nostr solution.

You can replace mp3 and album art as you wish, its either uploaded to Blossom or you can just add the link to music files and art. Splits is something i’m (and I think others) still working on
