I tried to update my custom NIP with artist info but it didn’t seem to be updating. Did you work off the one from nostrhub?

I feel like tags would be better because every licence has a name and can have a link. So both licence name and link can be very strictly defined in terms of format and expected content. Also you can have a list of most used licences so it's more an enum / tag thing to me.

Also I can think of a few use cases quering those tags if let's say you'd like an app or page which displays tracks using certain licence. Let's someone only listens CC music or would like to play CC licenced music in public.

For this reasons I'm less in favour of using content because content is really freefrom. So it's great for lyrics and credits but maybe not licences.

There doesn't seem to be any links to that page from the studio page. But i see my public hex key in artist guid fiel. This would mean i need a different profile for everyone of my aliases. I'd need 256 npubs to manage my own catalogue this way 😅

Just to clarify, I contacted Fountain about the 500 error, not Wavlake. But yeah, a bit of persistence seems to have sorted it out. I still have an issue that some releases seems to have been pulled in with reversed track order, but I haven't bothered with that yet 🙂

My experience with Fountain is different. Not slow at all. However, I noticed that your artist page (on Fountain) has the same issue as I faced initially (the 500 error page). It seems to be a Wavlake/Fountain-related problem. I reached out to their support team, and they fixed it, but the issue reappeared shortly after. I contacted them again, and they were able to identify the real cause and make a permanent fix. You might want to reach out to them too, and feel free to mention my experience if it helps.

Might I suggest we follow the pattern of text structure in .content field for license and don't add another tag? There are no existent concept of license in tags in any Nostra event and we already have clients that does "Credits:" and "Lyrics:".

So I suggest we parse license from the text content:

It means you can't query for a license with the relay. Also if we wanted to do indexing, license names would need to be standardized.

I don't know all that much about blossom servers. Are there any limitations when it comes to hosting these files (on the default servers)? For example, can they be deleted easily if we wish to do so? Any limitations on how much we can store?

I guess the "Enable RSS feed generation" is necessary to turn on, if we want the music to appear in Fountain, V4V, and other apps, right?

Do we need to submit our RSS feed manually, to be indexed, or does that happen automatically through Tsunami?

Does Tsunami allow for administering more than one artist (with separate feeds)?

And one final, more general, question. How does it work if an artist have one track on Wavlake and another one on Tsunami? Will that confuse apps like Fountain, or are they just added to the same artist page without a problem?

Curious to learn more.

One is boring, but more useful than it seems:

1. A field for inputting/chosing license.

Albeit often hidden in submenus on big platform, it's standard. I wish there was no need for licenses at all, but the world we live in dictates differently.

The other one is more phun, and something tells me you've already thought about it:

2. Comments with timestamp so clients can render comments the way that made soundcloud popular in the first place. Since not everytone has a bloom server, I suppose the waveforlm would have to be rendered client side. But maybe the waveform is oldschool? Maybe a timeline is enough? I don't know, but timestamps comments would be dope!

I had already spent hundreds of dollars on a project, and it was still full of bugs and half-baked features. The idea was great, but it clearly needed more work, which meant more time and more money. I was close to giving up. I was genuinely close to walking away from vibe coding altogether.

But I’m not a quitter.

I kept going and invested even more, eventually spending around $800 on my first serious project using Goose and Gemini 2.5 Pro. Since then, the tools have improved dramatically. The models are better, faster, and more capable. But more importantly, I got better.

I now see that phase as a learning and teaching experience. I learned how to communicate with AI effectively, how to guide it, correct it, and push it toward better outcomes. I learned the tricks of the trade and how to actually use AI as a real development partner. I kept building and I eventually won. That frustration wasn’t wasted at all. It was the cost of learning how to build in a new way.
