I think necessity precipitates adoption. So far imo a lot of people use and understand Bitcoin given that it’s a grassroots open source monetary innovation that has to supplant mandated fiat systems - systems that denounce it continually. Many events have pushed all sorts of people to find and utilize bitcoin and to me it’s off to a really good start.

Nostr will have its moments. This protocol would’ve see parabolic adoption during Covid with all of the censorship and de-platforming. I have no doubt similar things will happen in the future and nostr will be a freedom tool waiting for all comers, just like bitcoin.
