nostr:npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy nsec.app became very unreliable recently and behaves very strangely. it is barely usable. why doesn’t nsec.app work anymore with services like habla.news or npub.cash? i tested it with my main nsec and with test nsecs. i tested it on iOS (18.3) and on Android (15, CalyxOS). It used to work great on both devices. Now the issues persist on both devices / OSes. And sometimes the entry under the “Connected Apps” section disappears although I managed to successfully log in (on Olas for example where it works, though not without dealing with a lot of other hassles).

Hi, probably because of this, cc nostr:nprofile1qy3hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttkv4exjenfv4jzuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wshszxnhwden5te0dehhxarj9e3k2unrv968ymmkvyhx6ef0qywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctv9uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qyw8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdecxcetzwvhxgef0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3yamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3jxyhxxmmd9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcpremhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet59uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwdehhxarj9e3xwtcpypmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuetfde6kuer6wasku7nfvuh8xurpvdjj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq3qamnwvaz7tm99ehx7uewd3hkctcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejz7qpqmhcr4j594hsrnen594d7700n2t03n8gdx83zhxzculk6sh9nhwlq87ehgz nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7enjv4h8xtnwdaehgu339e3k7mf0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3samnwvaz7tmxd9k8getj9ehx7um5wgh8w6twv5hsqgrl54h466tz4v0re4pyuavvxqptsejl0vxcmnhfl60z3rth2xkpjsag59mm

So you log in, see connected app in the list, then after a while that record disappears, on the same device, without clearing cache etc? Could you please try repeating this, maybe making a video? Thanks!

I have recorded it for you (iPhone 12 mini, iOS 18.3). I created a fresh nsec within nsec.app and on this video you can see the successful connection to Olas app but the app won’t show up in the list. https://video.nostr.build/2dc7fa9e2b9c5ff23339dc000b69a68cd715080eb29a363800e367e90b18cf84.mp4

sir, please don’t do this. you’re the dev here who’s working on open source freedom technology. i’ll zap you back now.

No sir, you're the one helping fix bugs by providing detailed feedback and replicating bugs, please keep the sats.

wait… haven’t you received my zap?

Now I see I have. Thank you!

Thanks a lot! Fixed - please wait a bit, reload use.nsec.app page (ideally with Reload button that should appear on the header) and try again.

followed your instructions, but the issue still persists :(

Please try a bit later, maybe CDN cache issue. Just tried on my end - the issue was gone. Please let me know.

It took me several attempts until I could establish the connection (the connection request in nsec.app simply did not appear), but it has now worked and the app is now listed. Thanks for the quick fix.
