Oh wow. Those fees on 13 btc? That's quite impressive!
My outbound capacity is far less than 1/2 that even π
The most profitable node I know of is even smaller than mine, and there are even some specialized nodes that basically only sell liquidity to LOOP and only have a handful of channels.
What's the best place to read a bit more about this stuff? Lightning is quite interesting and I've been using it custodial for a long time now.. but maybe fun to play around with it on my own node π
Definitely worth running your own node! Running a node absolutely changed my relation to Bitcoin, increased my sovereignty 10-fold and opened up a ton of new doors.
Probably best place to start are either Plebnet or nostr:npub1hxfkcs9gvtm49702rmwn2aeuvhkd2w6f0svm4sl84g8glhzx5u9srk5p6t groups on Telegram. Lots of other noderunners glad to share advice and get you started on the journey. β‘οΈ
I've been running a full node for a few years now but the Lightning node has never really been needed. Could be fun thoughπ. Thanks for the suggestions.
