Anything that helps Bitcoin adoption is good for us. Lightning certainly does that.
Why do you think that?. I think lightning is essential for micro-payments and the general population will more than likely need a social space like @nostr that allows for micro-payments

What is the reason?
Running a lighting node is the reward we all pay for with sats we contribute. It’s not lost, it’s value for value. 🤙🏻🫂

where do they go? when you "lose" sats, does the lsp somehow get them?
