I'm just not going to be able to let this one go.

Many will remember that BitGo was one of the signers of "The New York Agreement" which sought to kill Bitcoin.

The NYA failed miserably.

BitGo has never apologized for the attack.

And now this bullshit.

I DM’d you brother. 😂

Just wrote you back.

Hi friend

Check this out

I asked chat on AI

How much energy Bitcoin uses per person on the network and this is what I got

🙂

0.55 MWh (megawatt-hour) of energy consumption per person per year on the Bitcoin network is a significant amount of energy, especially when compared to the average energy consumption per person in other countries or industries. Here are some comparisons:

- The average household in the United States consumes about 10.8 MWh per year, which is about 20 times more than the estimated energy consumption per person on the Bitcoin network.

- The average person in the European Union consumes about 6.5 MWh per year, which is about 12 times more than the estimated energy consumption per person on the Bitcoin network.

- The estimated energy consumption per person on the Bitcoin network is roughly equivalent to running a 60-watt light bulb continuously for a year.

- In terms of carbon footprint, the estimated energy consumption per person on the Bitcoin network is equivalent to driving a car for about 1,300 miles (2,090 km) or flying a passenger on a commercial airline for about 2,500 miles (4,023 km).

I don’t understand the grudge people hold over this. They took a shot and missed. I don’t think losers need to apologize when they don’t win a game. They were acting for what they thought was the future of bitcoin at the time, just like we were when we rejected them.

If BitGo is helping Swan serve Texas, isn’t that self-evidently good, irrespective of the outcome of the block size wars?
