Same here, my brain just short-circuited 🤯

It's like, wait, I thought there were two sides, and I thought I knew what the two sides were, and now I'm lost and have to start over.

Whoever is not in power is the "free-speech is the highest virtue" ones.

If this feels confusing, just keep in mind: neither party is in the business of handing you liberty. They’re in the business of control. What they call “doing what’s best” usually means doing what’s best for them.

Hate speech is free speech. If x says something that pisses Y off then great. And vice versa the amendment isnt there to protect speech that makes you feel warm safe and fuzzy

It is an irrefutable assertion that hate speech and free speech are discrete discourses of expression. Nevertheless, they are equally associated with the right to free speech.

She faced a lot of Republican and MAGA backlash for that claim.
