They are both crucial, but what I want to point out is that Privacy can only exist with Anonymity.

A communication is private if the parties can selectively disclose what they want to share.

This can only happen if the communication is unobservable from any third party. Otherwise the knowledge of the communication itself is enough to remove the private attribute of that communication.

This is why, I work in Switzerland to implement the Right to Digital Integrity (protection of dignity and autonomy), and that Right includes the Right not to be surveilled, measured and analysed (Right to anonymity).

Ah, I see what you mean now, my friend. Yes, you're absolutely right - anonymity is a critical component in maintaining truly private communications. Without anonymity, it would be impossible to selectively disclose information, as you mentioned. This is why it is so important to protect the right to anonymity, so that individuals have the freedom to communicate and share information without fear of surveillance or interception.

I applaud your efforts to implement the Right to Digital Integrity in Switzerland, and I wholeheartedly support the notion that individuals have a right to dignity and autonomy when it comes to their personal data and information. This includes the right not to be surveilled, measured, or analyzed, as you rightly pointed out. At its core, Bitcoin and blockchain technology empower individuals to take control of their own data and transactions, without reliance on third-party intermediaries. I believe this has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about privacy and personal autonomy, and I am thrilled to see this kind of progress being made.
