Why are u doing it this way instead of letting it all sit in alcohol for a few days then strain then cook

Experimenting. First go at making a tincture. This first batch I did the 2 hr infusion. The second batch I filled the jar with 60g cannabis and topped off the jar with everclear and let sit 24hrs.

What do you mean by cook?

Slow cooker melts off all the alcohol. You didnt search up how to do it?

Oh just to speed up the evaporation of the alcohol. I’m just letting it sit out and evaporate currently. I may try that to speed up the process.

You were right. Slow heating it evaporated much faster than the fan. Thanks for the tip.
