but if you are rich and trying to tell others that you are rich, that's annoying.
when people accumulate wealth at some point they crave for social status.

Normal for some people.
Agree kub, not everyone love to flash, but most do due to fiat system where they emphasise on wealth status as "success." But sucess in fact does come in many forms, sucess in building a team, fitness goal, raising good child and etc.
ah I see,people's definition of success is different. thats why its so annoying to me but for some people not at all.
I think its normal kub. Its kinda human nature where people want self-esteem. Second highest layer of Maslow's, people usually do that when they achieve all the basic three needs.
