In the phase of my mental cycle where I am wondering:

Am I missing something about how to operate as an adult, or is this all in system's design to demoralize and demotivate?

I do not know how other people manage their lives, but I struggle to get anything done beyond my job and daily survival.

We've had a number of mishaps in the last week (car accident, leaky roof, broken computer), all which require attention and money.

I don't understand how families have 2 working parents and still manage to get anything done outside of daily survival.

stop thinking it's the system. take control, responsibility, and work around obstacles.

there's an old Chinese story about a city intersection with a horse that has gone wild, bucking, creating havoc. the people are all standing there stuck and unable to get by. a master is walking through town, comes to the intersection and walks around the block.
