Original ≈2500 year old Teotithuacan temple art. Our tour guide was based af. He was shook that the main pyramids in Teotithucan were built with the exact same layout as the pyramids in Giza (mimicking Orion) and said he has no idea how this could have happened. But that it being a coincidence is impossible. #artstr #grownostr #mexico

Gracias! Teotithuacan was mind blowing. So glad I paid for the deluxe tour and had really good guides. Came with a quad rental and we went out to one of the caves where the Teotithuacan’s mined their materials. It was so cool and memorable.
Awesome! The ancients knew stuff we mostly forgot. How two vastly different civilizations built their pyramids in alignment with the same stars in the sky is definitely mind blowing!
They were so capable and disciplined and absolutely understood things we don’t today. It’s excellent to visit a place that for perspective.

It really was. They built giant shallow pools in all of their courtyards so when it rained they’d fill with water and act like giant mirrors for the night sky / stars.
Visiting this site was a deeply moving experience for me. The energy still flowing around both pyramids is palpable.
Without a doubt a wonder of the world. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
Teotihuacan is one of the best places on Earth.
