Well here goes. Installed proxmox on my new machine then start 9, now downloading btc core. Then will be a new lightning node. Above my pay grade the whole way but I made it

Still have a lot to learn before I go live with my node, but I do like it so far. Plan to test for month or so and then maybe migrate my pi.
Managing channels is time annoying.
I’ve been managing my channels with Zeus on my phone. I’m just looking to update my node and hopefully make it future friendly. My pi has done me well, but I used a 1tb drive and wanted more ram for future proofing. I like how the VM lets you allocate ram as needed. One thing I still need to figure out is how to mount a USB external drive for backups. That’s my next “to do” item other than learn the differences between Umbrel UI apps and Start9 apps. 🤙🏻
