You can also add another revenue stream by using that worm tea to inoculate biochar. This way you can ship the beneficial microbes to open your market. Keep up the good work!

I had this thought yesterday. I am incorporating biochar into the worm bin so you can actually see the fine particulate in the extract I made

That was my thought as well. I need to find a better way to crush it though. What method do you use for pyrolysis? I used a 55 gallon drum upright at a 45degree angle and it worked fairly well but I’m thinking laying it on its side and cutting a saddle into it might be better

I have the side with saddle. After quench, drain water then use a tamper to crush

You must like that setup then? Are you use a metal tamper?

I think I will start spreading the char on a piece of plyboard with a tarp over it and the char on top. This way I can tamp more efficiently.
