Has a Nostr relay reachable with IPv6 already been thought of?

I for example do not have public IPv4, but have fixed IPv6...

Many of the relays should be reachable by IPv6 as well as IPv4. I’ve just confirmed that I am connecting to some of them over IPv6.

Then I have to figure out how to make my Relay Nostr reachable on Umbrel with IPv6...

I haven’t tried the Umbrel Nostr relay with IPv6 but did have issues on Umbrel getting Lightning working with IPv6. I need to try it again but not sure if that was an Unbrel issue or something with the version of LND.

There is no port forwarding with ipv6 but you still have to open the required ports in your router firewall.

I'm also curious about the extra load on your raspberry. Mine is struggling just the with core bitcoin/lightning Apps 😱

I have Mac mini (late 2014) with Ubuntu on external SSD 1tb, not Raspberry.

Nice! That should be enough CPU and ram. A lot people are moving to 2TB however. Blockchain alone is now 600gb+ and it's a hassle to move to a bigger drive when you have curated a network of channels.
