just installed the app on their tablets and left everything as default.
If other actions are recommended they should be posted on the website. Makes me wonder why they are not!

Ohhh. if it's the developer's default servers, then OUR change would not affect it. It's only if you manually added simplifiedprivacy.com servers
Just seeing this, but you haven't lost anything if you're not specifically using the server provided by nostr:npub14slk4lshtylkrqg9z0dvng09gn58h88frvnax7uga3v0h25szj4qzjt5d6. SimpleX default servers are fine.
