I'm trying out XMPP. Anyone have an XMPP they'd like to chat to me over so I can test it out and see how it works and get a feel for it and stuff? Any cool communities or channels out there recommended for joining?

I understand how to setup an XMPP server. I don't understand how new users are meant to register accounts or change their passwords, manage their own credentials, etc.. There must be some additional front-end applications similar to what Element is to Matrix that can handle/facilitate this sort of stuff? I'm having difficulty locating answers online, however. Anyone willing to impart some insider knowledge?
There's mods for sending them an invite link. What server? Prosody? Join the Prosody channel on XMPP and ask questions.
