I've seen people writing about wanting an "Alby invite" and saw recently that Alby is phasing out the free tier. Two questions:
1. Is this true?
2. If yes, what is a good option for a new nostrich to get zappable? (And by "get zappable" I mean stupid easy.)
I already use Alby and felt it was the easiest and best way for a noob to get a signing extension AND lightning/zapping wallet. Alby is/was my recommendation for newcomers.

I'm confused about the alby thing myself. But either way... Primal is probably the best super easy newbie option. They have a wallet.
Or wallet of satoshi (although app is maybe banned in the US ?)
I've got to try primal more. I've looked at it but then use others. Maybe time for a another look.
It's a p decent app. Works smoothly, even search which is often a bit iffy on clients, v easy and newbie-friendly. I've not actually opened a wallet with them, but I've heard that is an option.

Ok just signed up for primal, you have to give them your email to get a wallet. Not a big deal, you can have a burner email or something. I didn't actually do it but seems v v easy.
It asks you your interests then auto follows some really shite accounts tho, which is a downside lol.
But would just tell a new person to avoid the auto follows or unfollow them. Or ideally block them lol:)
But overall will definitely recommend primal for the Total Newb, easiest, fuss-free option. With very little side notes needed. Basically, ignore the follow recommendations and bare in mind other options of clients and wallets are out there as / if you explore more later on. 😽
