Antisocial behaviour happens. We need to be able to address it ourselves, as a community of users in the apps, relays, and protocol. If we don’t then people will revert to centralized platforms.

I remember many moons ago a toxic reply to a post from nostr:npub14hlzw4sywt23drreaqs8ruf00dsrnnv5hfnyu49g2hpheq836umssur6nl and the first response from someone else was “looks like someone needs a hug”. There was a whole thread of people writing non confrontational comments that simply made the person the only bad actor. Never saw another post from that npub. It was almost like a public shaming with love. Fascinating to watch compared to twitter
I actually left to go back to Twitter to lure that person there where I’d have more recourse if something violent or illegal happened towards me.
The scary part is that it was only one person. If it was a mob it would have been unmanageable. 💔
