The app has gotten much more user friendly I have to agree although the 50% fees for zaps keeps me from attaching it to Nostr..

it's only 50% if the zap is below 200 sats

above 200 sats it has a 0.5% fee

initially i was like woah.. that is a lot <200 sats.. and might still be a lot for people in some parts of the world

but for me it's fine and honestly devs should be encouraged to do this.. it's a great setup to earn some sats for pow

another plus, it can motivate others to build a similar app but with lower fees (healthy competition)

Yeah true but How often do you get zapped over 200 sats the standard seems to me 21… there’s just other ways without the fees IMO

i like the model tbh

just a random zap.. i dont think I'll feel the difference of receiving 22 sats over and over compared to 11 sats

i do know I'll definitely feel the difference in receiving 100.000 sats vs. 50.000 sats

Yes no argument there great for large amounts but if there is still a way to avoid a fee one must!!!

It's not 0.5% above 200 sats. It's 100 sats even. So a 300 sat zap gives you 200 sats. A 10,000 sat zap will get you 9,900 sats.

That’s the positive of using ZeusPay which is why I use it for large transactions agreed only 100 sat fee for any large amount..
