Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa once in the 16th century.

Each copy of it, by definition, is merely a replica and does not carry the value of the original artwork. It is neither painted by Leonardo da Vinci nor as old as the original piece.

Digital scarcity and decentralization were successfully invented once in the form of #Bitcoin, and anything that comes after it is simply a copy of the original painting.

Unlike the original version, a copy has no scarcity. Countless copies can be made from the original version, but none will ever hold the same value as the original.

Once we understand the significance of this simple concept, the irrelevance of subsequent Bitcoin copies becomes crystal clear to us.
