I know how to use liquid but as a regular pleb, lightning is sufficient for now. For your swap to work, you still have to convince someone to hold liquid. The only problem is Liquid =! #bitcoin
Lightning is great (we are lightning-first since 2019) but it is not the perfect solution for every use case. And as of now it has a much higher mainchain footprint than necessary which is an issue whenever miner fees spike. That's what this note was about.
