New features for https://relay.guide
You'll be able to select preferred relays across Relay.Guide and then publish your preferred relays as a NIP 65 Relay List authorized via a nostr even tsigning browser extension.
Next up is supporting both NIP 65 and NIP 02 versions of users' preferred relay lists so that it works on as many clients as possible!

I like it. Snort honored the new advertising. Amethyst was whateva but probably not there yet with nip 65. I find it convenient if more clients support it so you wont type constantly between clients nos and nostr mom because easier to remember 🤣 (mind how you name ralays people 🤣). Does not recognized some nip05s searching and gives sometimes error when starting to type the nip05 first and then relay so I find myself typing relay first and then the nip05 and then works. Not sure why. Error on pic, same nip05 and relay entered (kiwi+nos2x). Hexes do better 🤙

It seems to have found more relays than what's in my current list. I'm guessing it aggregated them from older events. Prob best to check timestamps on 10002 and use the latest (if this is the case).
Also, will it keep any of the extra info like read/write/advertise that gossip uses if you publish?
It didn't find my Nip05.
You know that’s a good point. I’ll make it so that it only takes the latest. And yeah I think it strips that extra detail so let me add a way to retain that so nothing gets lost. That’s definitely important.
Alright I made two changes as suggested:
1. It only shows you the relays in your latest kind 10002 event not an aggregation of all the recent ones.
2. It’ll save the marker (read/write/advertise etc) and if you republish your relay list it’ll preserve that. (defaults to “write” for adding new relays via the rest of the site though)
What was your comment about the app not finding you NIP05?
Oh there was a Nip05 search thing.. didn't seem like it was hooked up tho.
Just thinkng.. For a tool that just focuses on relay configs, it'd be really cool to have it pioneer all the same configuration that gossip has. You could check out how the latest gossip client does relay configs, there are 4 or maybe 5 check boxes. Each has a description/tooltip of what they mean.
I think it's inbox, outbox, read, write, advertise. Though I'm not quite sure if gossip even publishes those flags or just uses them locally right now..
One other thing, what do you think about doing a nip for relay advertisements? I think it could be a nice nostr feature, that would make discovery of relays possible and was thinking future might try to draft one.
