And what are your thoughts about it compared to Meshtastic? I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to start with the deep dive into mesh networks

Depends on your needs! Reticulum is more complex and you have to run it on your laptop, desktop or Pi. I’m fully suttisfied with meshtastic bcs it meet my core needs which is off-grid messaging
