I mean most people in argentina are millionaires. Back in 2000 it was one peso one dollar. Now its almost 1000 to one.

All you need is a thousand usd in argentine pesos to be a millionaire.

Inflation is a powerful beast.

I went to Mexico City in the 80’s with around $100 USD.

Exchange rate was 150 pesos to a dollar. It was really weird getting a bad ass breakfast and paying the equivalent of 50 cents.

Some of the best meals of the 90s I had there 🤙
