Btc=Open source, incorruptible ledger meaning you wouldn’t have these types of “events “ occurring.

Lightning is off-chain, isn't it? I don't think there's a ledger or any accountability for transactions conducted with lightning.

Yeah, it looks like Bitcoin over lightning isn't going to solve any accountability problems. Lightning allows totally anonymous transfers of funds. 👌

The payment channel is opened on the main blockchain. Miners validate the transactions.
