Bugs

What species?

Kind of looks like yellow jackets, possibly.

Or some variant of a wasp.

Here we call them yellow-jackets or wasps.

These can make nests in things or underground even.

They typically get angry and aggressive during the mid-late fall right before winter hibernation.

These are not honeybees.

These are not your friends.

Do not allow them to stay.

Their stings hurt worse than honeybees.

On on the internet, there are some homemade traps you can make, but this may cause them to swarm and attract others in the vicinity.

Everyone, what are you recommendations, (outside of using a flame thrower) to safely get rid of these?

Is a tactical nuke ok?

I dunno. Might need a local permit for that.

Looks like yellow jackets

Hornet? I'd get that hive smoked or moved.

how does that hornet have European citizenship

Google Lens. I had that open 10s ago, too :D

It's certainly a wasp.

The simples thing you can do is to abandon the house or simply burn it. πŸ”₯

Bullish signal

Looks like yellow jackets to me. Definitely a wasp/hornet of sorts.

Yellow jackets bro.

Use dr bronners and baking soda and spray them πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘Š

I recommend a bit of gasoline and a match πŸ™ƒ

And leave the country? 🀣

Nah those assholes live everywhere you can't out run them

Yup, one time when I was a kid I ran past a plantain tree and hit a leaf. I thought the leaf had stuck to my hair so I tried to wave it off with my right hand. Little did I know I had hit a wasp nest hanging under the leaf, and what had stuck to my hair were wasps. I got stung on the head (top) and on my right hand. Nothing much happened to my head but my hand got pretty swelled up.

Ouf. I have stepped on 3 nests in my life, I am getting much better at running away

Georgia Tech graduates. Hobbies include building large structures underground and being angry.

Deadly hornets

are they nesting or just scraping off material to use in a nest elsewhere?

Definitely Yellowjackets

N America, if that's where you are, have several different species of wasps that may be called collectively as yellow jackets.

Depending on your geographic location in USA the ones you photoed may be one of Vespula or Dolichovespula species.
