My first Start9 node is off & syncing the Bitcoin timechain. 400k blocks synced & only be 10% through the sync (sounds about right).
Super easy install.
I feel like I'm going to be recommending it to other plebs.
I'll be installing LNC in a few days (bye bye LND).

I wanted to try LNC, but my son took over my start9 😅
Forced local channel closures that I didn't initiate & a general lack of enthusiasm for implementing Bolt 12.
It had nothing to do with Liz Stark being a WEF puppet.
I'm thinking I'll spin up a second Start9 box as a personal server & retire my next cloud box.
Hopefully they've fixed that issue with connecting to Sparrow. Lemme know?

What hardware?
It's a 3 year old NUC with a new 2TB SSD.
it's pretty decent from what I can remember with heaps of ram.
It's up to 638521 after about 12 hrs of syncing.
16GB RAM (I thought I had 32GB in there).
It's handling the sync pretty easily. Electrs, memepool & CLN will chew up some more resources.
It took me about 3-4 weeks to fully sync ok start9.
