I actually didn't want to use World Wide Web (WWW) much when it was initially available. It was "cold" and "impersonal", I hated it.
Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) was the place to be. It was social, it was smaller, we got to know each other personally.
I miss the good old days hacking my way around with phpBB and building gaming clan websites
