Tepache it's a slightly alcoholic fermented pineapple beverage. One uses the unwashed pineapple rind with it's natural yeasts and microorganisms. This pineapple was from my garden.
Fascinating beverage. Iβm planning to do a version where I up the ABV with honey. A melomel of sorts.
