Sharing Past Art…

One of the mixed media 1920s French Fashion nostriches I created for last year’s Nostrich November art challenge.

I drew the nostrich based on a vintage fashion catalog. Printed and colored her with Copic markers. Then added her to an 8” x 10” art board, with a background of collage and acrylic paint, with Art Deco patterns.

The text is a French translation of the copy on the Nostrich November website, printed on tissue paper.

I’ll be updating the website next month with details about this year’s art challenge.

Thanks! The goal is to share art, of any kind, on Nostr in November so it’s very free-form. Art everyday or once a week. I think I’m going for once a week and will share process photos and maybe videos. 🤔
