I would like to hear opinions from people who have studied bitcoin and have not adopted it into their lives, at least as a store of value. Does such a person exist?

They do but their in the closet and probably too show to come out publicly on Nostr.
I would also be very interested in this. I habitually look for solid bear arguments, or systemic weaknesses. I get uncomfortable when things feel culty.
All the people who really appear to understand it are on board, most of the arguments against it kinda miss the mark.
Te weakness might be the ECC in a couple of years. But Bitcoin is dynamic and can adapt quickly and early to challenges.
Or we talk about apicalyptic events like meteor impact, switch of the magnetic poles of the earth, gamma ray hit, massive solar eruption, super volcano outbreak, alien invasion, nuclear war.
Hwrd to believe that anybody like this exists. Even though there are uncertainties, people might want to have at least a fraction to diversify their portfolio...
Unless this person is really really poor struggling to obtain food and shelter.
People who are that poor are at least taking advantage of Bitcoin faucets or nostr tip culture if they've really studied enough.
I think it's actually people who have plenty of food and shelter, but also have agreements with scary people that prohibit them from holding Bitcoin.

Digit might be one for reasons I don't understand. I didn't get to talk to her enough when she was friends with me.
I do understand the reasoning for some of them, it's like this: "I understand that Bitcoin is better money and the dollar is dying, but I have connections with people at the top who control the money printers, and I've made agreements that prohibit me from holding Bitcoin without permission. Violating agreements with these people is more scary than missing out on early Bitcoin exchange rates, because when it's my turn to start holding Bitcoin, my dollars will still get me a whole coin, no matter how many dollars my friends have to print for me to ensure it."
