Sifting rolls of half dollars for the pre-1971 silver ones. They're actually not that hard to come across, I think it's a combination of the fact that Kennedy 50-cent pieces don't circulate very much and most people don't know the ones minted from 1965-1970 are still 40% silver.
So, go to bank, sift, return post 1971 rolls?
Pretty smart.
How many do you buy at a time and how many do you find?
Probably best to rotate. Bank figures it out and they do it themselves.
