Do you think I should restart my whole nostr account as I have input my key direct into Damus, Amethyst and NostrPlebs? For web clients I have used Nos2x extension.

I think you're fine using just Damus and Amethyst. Though, I am curious what you eamn about Nostr Plebs. Back in December we did have some people accidentally give us their private key before we stopped accepting hex keys and moved to the npub format. Did you give us your private key?
