Nostr private key support has been added to Passport, allowing you to securely generate, easily backup, and recover your Nostr private keys directly from Passport or Passport’s seed.

Simply display your Nostr key as a QR code and login directly to your favorite app with a single scan. No more copy-pasting private keys.

You can use this today in Amethyst for Android.

Oh I know that! I just don’t want to have to start a brand new nostr account. Need that key rotation action lol

Perhaps for a side account, or when a p2p Bitcoin buying option is introduced to nostr…. Then another account will be the perfect play

Do you think I should restart my whole nostr account as I have input my key direct into Damus, Amethyst and NostrPlebs? For web clients I have used Nos2x extension.

I think you're fine using just Damus and Amethyst. Though, I am curious what you eamn about Nostr Plebs. Back in December we did have some people accidentally give us their private key before we stopped accepting hex keys and moved to the npub format. Did you give us your private key?
