Gary seems like a good dude, and these prices are fair.

I say this having

- built 4 heltec v3 nodes

- designed a custom add-on battery case for the stock heltec v3 case

- built out 4 Tdecks, and

- am working on a custom solar node that has features I can't find in any existing build

If you are on the American East coast and want something turnkey, go to Gary. Heck, even if you're in the midwest. There's not a lot of sellers of ready to go gear. Most people will have to add a battery, print a case, and will want to upgrade the stock antenna.

Hey Dr.

How far is this battery case of yours? Did you prototype it already?

I'm still interested in the construction / design file 😉😊

I got you, llama. Get it fast, riseup sweeps files every 24 hours.

This pack has 5 versions of the model, including a complete redesign. So you can see the mistakes I made and hopefully learn from them.

The main problems I had this time around were: tolerances for moving parts and designing so the parts could be printed without supports.

Enjoy.

Ok, I'll take a look this week. Thanks for sharing! 🤙

Oops. Seems like I was too late. Download link expired 🫠

I tried to warn you

I'm taking my t beam to our meetup today to try and build interest even though I've only been running it about a week and rarely get nodes to connect to being that I'm in the sticks.

I have an interest in a meshtastic weather station but my knowledge of the protocol needs to improve.
