Hearing "simping for trump" being thrown around alot by adolescent anarcho larps bitter with envy by the historicity of this presidency.

The reality:

1. Voters could choose Biden or #Trump and it's good that Trump won. Populism "having it's moment" has slayed woke green globalism and reinvigorated nation state competition within the West.

2. Early results promising, especially the Milei-like reduction of government, reversing course on open borders, and the green lighting of further #Bitcoin entrenchment. 4 years of this could as actually move the needle for households.

3. Good comes with bad. Trump did the victory tour on covid long after the world figured out the whole pandemic op. Trump still sweet on mRNA. Trump coming to aid of Israel in their final expansion through Palestine. Trump signalling for expansion of the US empire to Canada, Greenland, etc. Trump positioning for digital reset of government in the West via stablecoins and social credit ala paypal mafia (x, palantir), which appears to be the 'america first ' coalition within the intel community.

The era of the post war consensus is being concluded and something new is rapidly being born.

Don't miss it. 🍿

Trump is going to usher in some really fun communism with this sovereign wealth fund, along with a few other things. But at least we got ross free. If we all have to call each other comrade now, worth it.

As opposed to what?

I mean, maybe instead of comrade we would call each other friend or friendo? Not sure.

Nice chat.

Trump is not a communist

Tell me what would you call a government who prints fiat to buy equity of companies who "play ball" aka the sovereign wealth fund proposal?

That’s fascism

Anarchists have no theory of power. It is hard to operate in a world shaped by power. Without bitcoin, no one would care for that very reason.

Laser - why would an anarchist be "bitter with envy by the historicity of this presidency?"

Perhaps a democrat would feel such things, but an anarchist would feel opposition to any growth or utility of the state, in any form, as a matter of principl, not emotion.

My read is that a lot of naive folks in #Bitcoin are simply bitter that the biggest tectonic plates are being rearranged today more by the changes in government than by #Bitcoin.

#Bitcoin is affecting change on a longer time scale, reprogramming deep incentive structures, but Trump is in the limelight today and probably will be for 4 years.

You think naive bitcoiners/anarcho type want the tectonic plates to stay put?

Well said

Regardless of what you think, sometimes shit needs to shaken up.

I’m an anarchist and I voted for Trump.

Honestly if the US could reduce the powers of government, I would want as many places in the world to be part of the republic. That means Israel and Palestine, Iran, Mexico, Venezuela, etc. If our government was a little better, then these people would enjoy protection of their rights under the law.

As our government stands today, that isn’t ideal. I still think we should annex Canada, Mexico, and Israel/palestine. This would increase the freedom of all of them.
