Thanks for the info. If I understand correctly. If you only posted to your personal relay then you would have full control over removing your own posts.
That isn’t going to suit 99% of use cases as users will want to use popular, public relays that lots of users use.
I think most use cases would be popular, public relays that aren’t censoring users, that seems to be the ethos of the #Nostr protocol. Having to run your own relay won’t be necessary for most. The important distinction here is there is an option, whereas with Twitter there isn’t.
