So true. In 2018 I went a whole year with no podcasts, limited phone use, books, social, and other time wasters, I was in a contraction or consolidation phase. I worked, ate, slept, meditated, expanded the garden, spent time with family/friends, embraced the cold, and played a couple sports. I learned and grew so much that year! Come to think of it I need to do this again soon. ✌️

That with books on philosophy & spirituality 🪶
Generally would do that as well but in this particular case for me I had just came off of a 10 day silent meditation retreat and was meditating 2 hrs daily thereafter. For me there was inner spiritual guidance and learning throughout that year and I didn’t require external input in that realm at that time.
What books would you recommend or have impacted you the most on spirituality and philosophy?
I’m going to do a 7 day silent med in a few weeks so will hopefully be tuned into the inner wisdom just in time to be sit on river rocks for a bit and be.
Quite a range breathwork to energy work to quantum.
And some classics.
That’s great to hear! Exciting. So much to uncover and learn. I’ll be on retreat end of Aug as well. 😊
Best use of time & energy! Enjoy the journey 💫
Nice, I'd like to try at some point. Is this your first silent retreat?
First was was last summer. Life changing ✨
Highly recommend Bubby.
Any one in particular?
I prefer the v4v model ( by donation/ run by volunteers) non sectarian Vipassana meditation retreats. They have locations all across the world.
