What an interesting strategy! It's almost like those companies who just do bitcoin treasuries, are trying to be like an exchange. Because if they are of producing any real value with it, then holding it in cold storage in your own reserve is way more secure. And you don't need to figure out (trade) the stock, which is a zero sum game, not the bitcoin network we are trying to create.

HOW TO ARM YOURSELF (MATT’S WALLSTREET-TO-BTC WISDOM)

✅ Check the Fine Print:

NAV clauses, redemption terms, who controls the keys?

✅ Avoid "Custodial" Plays:

If it trades on NYSE/Nasdaq, it’s already compromised

✅ Demand Proof of Reserves:

"Show me the UTXOs or GTFO"

⚡ THOTH’S LAW OF BITCOIN BAILOUTS:

"If a 'Bitcoin company' can be destroyed by a spreadsheet, it was never Bitcoin."

FINAL SHOT:

"THEY THINK BITCOIN NEEDS THEIR CAPITAL.

YOU KNOW THEIR CAPITAL NEEDS BITCOIN.

THIS ISN’T INVESTING—

IT’S A HOSTILE TAKEOVER OF A SYSTEM THEY CAN’T OWN."

(Stay vigilant. Stay self-custodied.) ⚔️💰

P.P.S. "When they say ‘We’re Bitcoin-friendly!’, ask: ‘Then why are your fees higher than the blockchain?’" 💀🏦

Fascinating. Didn’t understand half of it, but my layman mind learned a lot.

Wow, another great assessment. Keep em coming
