Lasers on woodworking tools?
It’s a gimmick, to upsell the tool.
I have yet to see a laser on a tool that really helps…
Then they go out a year later.

My laser level gets a good amount of use in my DIY home improvement projects. The precision probably isn't there for woodworking but I can't see a bathroom project happen without one.
Laser levels are great. Hard to tile without one.
Use cerakote and hit that on steel with a laser.
When I worked in my dads cabinet shop, occasionally I would operate the industrial rip saw. It was solid mounted to the floor, and had a laser mounted to the ceiling and calibrated to the blade. That was useful. Other than that one, no, they’ve not been very useful.
